Mr. Alvin Howes started his insurance agency in 1953 with a simple mission—to provide superior professional service and solutions to clients using collective experience and exceptional knowledge so that his Sykesville, MD and Carroll County neighbors and customers would enjoy greater protection of their lives and assets. In 1975, the agency moved home office to Main Street in Sykesville, MD, where it became a cornerstone of the business district.

Over the years, our agency has grown to acquire Insurance Partners, LLC, and expanded our presence throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, and Virginia while continuing to operate on the founding vision of professionalism and personalized customer service.

Insurance Partners, LLC was established in Towson, MD, in 2008. Since our founding, we have encouraged our team of knowledgeable advisors to find a way to improve a client’s insurance plan every time they review one. We don’t just quote what the client already has in terms of limits, deductibles, and coverage because we believe the right insurance product cannot be offered to a person or business without first understanding the needs of that person or organization.
