For the first 15 years of Dana Heatwole’s career in the insurance industry, he was an underwriter and underwriting manager with large, national companies. In 2002 he moved to the broker side of the business where the in-depth technical insurance knowledge he gained as an underwriter could benefit clients.

Dana knows a great deal about exposure analysis, risk assessment, coverage analysis, contract review, and negotiation with underwriters. That command of products and prices allows him to provide the most comprehensive and competitive insurance programs available in the marketplace.

Before entering the insurance industry, Dana spent time as a member of the armed forces. He graduated from Towson University, worked as a math teacher, and coached young athletes. Dana has strong professional relationships, including underwriters, vendors, coworkers, and especially clients.
